the citizens group for corporate accountability had cited toyota for that before, they talk the talk but don't walk the walk. their marketing even does it,claiming the best quality when most independent sources don't concure, sure their up there, though claiming the best is a little bit of a stretch.

Actually if you give money to people who are running 'anti-green' campaigns and who are denying global warming you are propagating their beliefs and are also directly supporting their beliefs and their attempts to cloud fact with misinformation.

Toyota, if you don't agree with their claims that global warming doesn't exit why would you support their efforts to decry the fact that it is a serious problem for the entire world?

I went to Toyota's website (<a href="http://www.toyota.com)" target="_blank">http://www.toyota.com)</a> and sent them my comments on their two-faced stance - providing support to and remaining a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce while advertising how green their company is.

What I found interesting was not that I received the exact same (canned) response, but that I received it less than five minutes after hitting the Send button. Obviously, Toyota's computers are searching for specific keywords in the correspondence they receive, and sending form letters in response.

I guess we just have to hope that our letters and pleas aren't hitting the garbage before they're even read by a human being.
