Not only were these guys cooking the books. They were exerting pressure on the prestigious publications to not accept rebuttals from the skeptics – and then arguing that their opponents weren't credible because (in part) they had no "credible" publications. Amazing ! Hopefully the next career for all of these guys will be trash pickup jockeys! At least that will be helping the environment somewhat.

I want to give the owner of this blog kudos for allowing comments to be published without censorship. I've tried to publish a couple at Real Climate before and got censored. (But they did allow the last one saying now is not the time for inaction due to uncertainty over the science, but rather, to develop and electrify -solar or coal, either one- as fast as possible so the hundred million people suffering from serious air pollution due to burning cow dung indoors for heat can have longer lifespans).

First time I've seen this site.

In reading the comments from Inhofe above, I looked very hard for the part where he said conservative bloggers were involved in criminal activity. Of course it's not there, and that was my indication that Josh was a left wing spinmeister. And then the part about "Imagine the outrage that would ensue if the tables were turned……" BWAH HA HA HA HA !!!! That's a funny one. When you're still delusional about how biased the mainstream…err.. state controlled media are you should refrain from calling anyone "batshit insane".

Kudos to the sharp commenters above pointing out the analogy to the ACORN scandal.

And Josh, before you keep blasting out your "criminal act" crap you really should read the Hadley CRU (UEA) FOI guidelines. They apply to everything they do. The criminal acts were the global warmers' failures to turn over the information requested.

Amazing, these so called "conscensus" scientists have finally been exposed for scamming the public and this blogger wants to go after the whistle-blower. Sounds like a typical liberal move to me. Not unlike the two journalists who outed the scam that ACORN is, the left wants to go after the investigative reporters who exposed them. Then you have the New York Times, that thriving newspaper that loved to print classified information in an effort to hurt the previous adminstration, refusing to print any of these leaked emails because they "weren't" meant for public viewing. What happend to the days of good investigative reporting?

Ummm, such a thing has been done by far-left bloggers (i.e. the NY Times) when they released sensitive military secrets during war time. They should have been tried for treason, but there was no backlash and certainly "the media" never paid it any attention. Yes, conservatives complained, but the NYT bloggers leaking Pentagon secrets is certainly a far worse crime than bloggers releasing CRU emails included in what was supposed to be released under FOIA anyway! Idiot!

I see, "…the bloggers coming up…" and, "…a blogger got into…", but I don't see any mention of the word conservative anywhere in the quotes. Granted, conservative bloggers have been running with the ball, but it seems inaccurate to say Inhofe accuses, "conservative bloggers" of hacking CRU.
